Pace
Bend your computer with your voice.
A desktop app for dictation, transformation, and voice-driven workflows with compact feedback and configurable routing.
Highlights
Why it exists
- Voice-driven dictation with a compact always-on-top flow session
- Flows and subflows for per-task or per-app behavior
- AI-assisted post-processing and inference-based routing
- Built around fast interaction, not a bloated command center
Overview
Current shape
Pace is a desktop product for capturing speech, shaping it, and pushing it back into the app you are already using.
Its workflow is centred on flows and subflows. A flow can be triggered by a global shortcut, route speech through direct dictation or inference, and apply task-specific instructions before the result is pasted or shown in the flow session window.
The current product shape from the local repository points to a few core ideas:
- Voice-first interaction with live transcription feedback
- AI-assisted rewriting and transformation when a subflow needs it
- Routing based on the active app or semantic similarity
- A compact, high-signal interface instead of a large control surface
Pace is the more interface-heavy side of HamSpec: fast feedback, sharp edges, and a small amount of spectacle where it actually helps.
